What is a truck tractor?
A truck tractor is part of the tractor-trailer combination. The tractor is basically the front end of a truck. So this truck combination consists of two separate parts. Different semi-trailers, trailers or a trailer can be coupled to the tractor unit. This makes this truck combination multifunctional in use.

A truck tractor has two different types of cab. On European roads, we see the front-drive cab most often. In this type of tractor, the cab is placed in front or above the front axle. Then there is the torpedo cab where the cab is placed behind the engine. This form of trailer is also known as an American type and is often seen as a show truck in Europe. Besides the two types of cab, a tractor has many other different specifications. You can come to us not only for a standard 4X2 or 6X2 tractor, but also for specific models such as a 4X4, 6X4, 6X6, 8X4 or, for example, a tractor with a crane.

What is the European emission standard of used tractors?
Every truck tractor from the European Union has a European Emission Standard, which stands for the different emission classes of vehicles. This Euro standard is divided into 6 classes: Euro 1 to Euro 6. The higher the class, the more environmentally friendly the tractor is. You can find the Euro standard in the specifications of each tractor.
What does a truck tractor cost?
For a brand new tractor, you should think of amounts starting from €100,000. Second-hand tractors are available for as little as half this price. You can find a second-hand tractor from as little as € 16,500.
